A message from Dr Wondra

For the past 25 years, we have been fortunate to serve the Rio Rancho community at Wondra Dental Care P.C. It has been an honor to provide dental care to you and your families, and I consider you all to be friends and part of our family.

After 30 years of practicing dentistry, I have decided to begin transitioning towards retirement. Therefore, we have decided to sell our practice to a local dentist that we know will take care of our patients and our staff and continue the high level of care and customer service you are used to receiving from Wondra Dental Care. I have not retired yet, and I will continue to practice at Wondra Dental Care for the foreseeable future to ensure a smooth transition.

Doctor Chris Christensen, DMD, has bought the practice and we are happy to say that he will expand upon the services we already provide with the addition of endodontics and dental implants, which means more convenient and timely care for you and your families.

Dr. Chris Christensen was born in Kingman, Arizona and grew up in the central Valley of California. He moved back to Kingman in 2003 where he met his sweetheart Nichole Christensen and after serving a two-year mission for his church in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Chris returned and married Nichole and began their journey together.

Dr. Chris went to undergraduate school at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona and then attended dental school at Temple University in Philadelphia and graduated in 2016. After graduating, Dr. Chris and his family came to Albuquerque, and he has been practicing in the area for the last eight years. Dr. Chris and Nichole have three sons, Matthew (16), Aaron (14), and Andrew (8). They enjoy the outdoors, being in the mountains, and exploring new places.

I want to be sure that our patients and their families will continue to receive the highest quality of care as I do work towards retirement in the coming years.

Sincerely,
Kirk and Jo Ann Wondra
